|About Trinity Business Alumni|
The Trinity Business Alumni (TBA) is the global association of graduates of Trinity College Dublin from all academic disciplines, who are engaged in business activities.
The TBA is a forum for alumni to connect and network, to learn, and to contribute to the development of business, College and wider society.
Dear TBA Member,
I am delighted and honored to follow in the footsteps of Alan Foy and take over as President of the Trinity Business Alumni for 2013 and I greatly look forward to the year. Although now back living in Dublin my own career has taken me to a number of countries and substantial ‘stints’ in both Australia and the US. What always struck in these, and other, countries was the awareness and respect that Trinity College engendered amongst so many people and I always felt enormously proud to be an alumnus. I have met and worked with Trinity graduates all over the world and found it a terrific ‘passport’. Now back in Dublin I feel a great desire to contribute back to the institution that has given me wonderful opportunities. Much as I like to celebrate and commemorate I am more interested in the future and how Trinity can build on centuries of success and become a truly global University of consequence. The Provost and his team are focussing on imlementing an ambitious plan in this area. I believe we, in the TBA, can play a vital role in this endeavour which will benefit the College, the country and all of us enormously. To that end I am hoping you will join with me as we work, during the year ahead , on initiatives to help Trinity achieve that goal.
The goal of the TBA is to provide graduates with an opportunity to connect and network, to learn and to contribute to the development of business, College and the wider society. This will be achieved through online connections and a series of events throughout the year that will allow us all to network effectively and enjoyably. The TBA would not be possible without your support and the support of our Corporate partners and of our volunteers. To all of you I convey sincere thanks and appreciation and very much look forward to working with you on the exciting agenda outlined above and to hearing of any ideas or thoughts and, indeed, suggestions of other Trinity graduates you think might like to be involved.
I look forward to meeting you at upcoming events.
