We are delighted to invite you to a business breakfast on the theme of “Business Transformation – The Changing Consumer” with Mr. Colin Ryan – Head of Accenture’s Operations and Innovation Practice in Dublin.

Colin Ryan will discuss how the rapid pace of technological convergence, the rise of social networking and the explosion of the personal mobile device has changed the nature and power balance of consumption forever.  The new consumer is highly informed, connected and interconnected, discerning, ethically conscious and more and more influential.  The implications as to how consumers buy from, and perceive their relationships with, brands and organizations are enormous and rapidly changing.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Mr. O’Leary shared his experiences of working in the IDA for over 30 years in most of its business areas including two periods totalling 15 years in Germany, latterly as Director of Europe.

Before his appointment to CEO Mr. O’Leary was Divisional Manager of the IDA’s Life Sciences and Information and Communications Technology business units, where he led IDA teams in winning significant investments from a number of key clients such as Lilly BioPharma, Servier, Pfizer, Centocor, Cordis, IBM, Kelloggs, Altana, Merck and Cisco Systems among others.

After dinner, David O’Donnell, President of TBA chaired a Q&A with Mr. O’Leary and the audience.
