Governance after the Mahon Report: Getting it Right

What are the implications for Irish companies and senior executives from the evolving national and international guidelines on corporate governance best practice?

Given the increased media scrutiny and legal requirements, we will look at the systems and processes that organisations need to enable compliance with corporate governance guidelines. In the light of the recent Mahon Tribunal Report, we will also explore the measures that should be taken to ensure adequate structures are in place to avoid breaches of trust, bribery or other wrong-doing.

Speakers:

Paul Egan, Chairman, Corporate Department, Mason Hayes & Curran

Paula Phelan, Head of Company Secretarial, Mason Hayes & Curran

Chair

Professor Gerard McHugh, School of Business in Trinity College Dublin
