David W. Duffy, founder of The Governance Company, experienced board member and author of “A Practical Guide for Company Directors” published in June 2018. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds an MBA from IMD in Lausanne. David will speak on the practical implications for anyone considering a career as a NED.
Fiona Ross, Chair of Córas Iompair Éireann (CIÉ), former Director of the National Library, and previously a stockbroker in London. Fiona is an exceptionally experienced NED, having served on 17 Boards in Ireland and the UK over the past six years. A graduate of TCD, Queen’s University Belfast (LLM in Corporate Governance) and George Washington University (a fellowship in Governance), Fiona will speak from personal experience of her roles as a NED and Chairman, and give hints and tips on selecting suitable NED appointments.
